Bijou Karman x ZARA

Woman in Art capsule collection

Last winter, a Spanish fashion retailer ZARA invited three women illustrators to create a limited series connecting art and fashion. Among them — an American artist and fashion illustrator Bijou Karman, who already had an opportunity to collaborate with Prada, Hasper’s Bazaar and Nike.

For ZARA’s “Women in Art” capsule collection, she drew three colorful and in Bijou’s style characters, printed on a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, and a scarf. One detail: the label had been moved under artworks, referring to works, presented in museum and honoring young women artists who had contributed to this capsule.
