Simplifying layer management with Lunacy’s auto z-index

Lunacy’s Auto z-index feature automatically arranges the order of your layers as you move them, which means less manual adjustment for you.

How auto z-index works

When you drag a larger layer over a smaller one, Lunacy automatically positions the larger layer beneath the smaller layer.

This behavior ensures that smaller elements, like icons or buttons, naturally appear on top of larger elements, like backgrounds.

Why it helps

  • Saves time. You won’t need to use manual commands like Send to Back or Bring to Front as often.
  • Flexibility. You can still use standard layer commands if you ever need to override the automatic ordering.

Auto z-index is designed to streamline basic layer management, allowing you to focus on design rather than adjusting layer order.
