Expanded icon library and smoother icon search in Pichon

New Pichon for MacOS got updates that make your experience even better. Let’s see what it has now.

New search and navigation workflow

Start typing right in the left panel to find the icon style you need faster. The selected style will appear on the top. To reset your search filter, just click on the close icon right there.

New icons in the library

Now, in Pichon, you can find icons not only from the Icons8 team but also from indie artists. This brings more style diversity or your search results and more inspiration. Some packs are still little but will be growing in time. To see these new icons, click on the Independent section in the styles panel.

Onboarding

Becoming a new user in Pichon is now easier: short tooltip instructions will give you an idea of how to use the app.

Bug fixed

The update got a few bug fixes like:

  • Icon shadows are not pixelated even with the maximum zoom.
  • You can drag-drop icons in *.svg to Figma without any issues.
