Mockups in minutes: Lunacy’s auto shape colors for faster designs

Learn how Lunacy’s auto shape color simplify modern website mockups with automatic color application and faster workflows.

Designing mockups shouldn’t be a tedious, repetitive task. Drawing grey rectangles over grey rectangles and manually tweaking each color wastes valuable time. With Lunacy’s auto-shaped colors, the process is streamlined, letting you design mockups faster and with less effort—so you can focus on creativity instead of routine tasks.

How auto shape colors work

When you create shapes in Lunacy, the app automatically applies colors based on:

  • Shape size. Smaller shapes are assigned darker colors, while larger ones get lighter tones for a balanced, professional look.
  • Background context. Colors are adjusted to complement the current background, ensuring contrast and readability in your mock-up design.

The mock-up designs are done at lightning speed without worrying about picking colors manually.

Customizing your palette

Each new document includes default color variables (main, accent, background, text) organized under the Palette group in the Variables tab. You can:

  • Generate a new palette. Click the palette generation option.
  • Manually adjust colors. Click any color circle to open the color picker and make changes.

Reverting to default gray

Prefer gray shapes? Simply delete the Palette group from the Variables tab to disable auto-coloring.

Lunacy’s auto shape colors let you design faster, keeping your mockups consistent and professional. Try it today to streamline your workflow.
